A summer hike in Smith Rock State Park in Eastern Oregon was the inspiration for this canvas painting.

My nephew, a talented designer/entrepreneur, commisioned this painting for the floor of his new home goods store opening in the trendy Gas Town district of Vancouver B.C.  The inspiration is a piece of traditional Japanese fabric. I will post new photos of the shop when it is open so you can see some of his other great ideas. His shop will be a one stop shop for everything hand picked for highest quality and style.

A knitch is a cry out for a mural. Here I painted a pair of knitches in a private residence with these landscapes inspired by the early 19th century painter John Constable. Consulting the genious of an inspired master‘s works brings uniqueness and integrity to a painting.
