I come from a family full of artists.  My sister Lisa is an author as her art of choice, and asked me to help her by creating the covers for her books.  It was a case of trial and error, but I am now an illustrator for a published author.  Lisa’s web page, www.magicintheland.com  is available where she uses a variety of my works.  I’m not sure I will work with any other authors, because it takes a lot of brainstorming and adjustment with the both of us discussing it for hours.  In the end I had to learn how to photoshop for finer features and leave open areas for titles, without losing the movement and the vibrant colors needed to make an attractive color.
